Shalona always puts God first in everything that she does. She believes that in doing so all is in order. She has come a long way in life and along the way God has constantly been blessing. She has set goals in her life and not only has she achieved them but she has gone far beyond the goals she's set. She is truly blessed and has a loving family which consists of God, her childen, and her best friend. We all serve a purpose and it has taken me years to see what mine is and now that I know what it is there's nothing that can stop me. She will take you on a journey through her life and show you all the things that played a part in helping her become the woman that she is today. She will also cover all the bad relationship in her life and how deception and manipulation played a major part in all of them. One things she wants to say to all of you that reads this is to keep God close at all times. In her book about her life she gives it to you straight no chaser and some of the things she reveals is so deep and real. One day Shalona L. Amos decided that she wanted to write more than poetry so she tried her hand at short stories. This led her to begin writing her five books: Empowering Women: Life's Lessons and Blessings, Diary of a Sex Addict, Life Experiences: Stories to Remember, Poetry for the Soul, The Lesbian Chronicles which will be published through her own publishing company, Soul on Fire Publishing.

Diary of a Sex Addict (Synopsis)

Tiffany Love is a sex addict that lives a secret life. Her friends and family all think of her as a normal, laid back girl who goes to school and attends church regularly. After being introduced to sexual acts and pornography at a young age, Tiffany starts masturbating to get that “good feeling.” Losing her virginity to a man she doesn’t even know, begins a downward spiral for Tiffany. Receiving the love that she needed from her mother as a child, Tiffany assumed things would be even better when her mother marries Vincent because she had never had a father figure in her life. She soon found that wasn’t the case. Vincent began to make Tiffany’s life a living hell and in the process takes the little love that she had already been receiving from her mother away. Her mother always believed that a woman should be submissive to her husband therefore she usually took Vincent’s side. Determined to find love, even if it means taking risks, living on the edge, and sleeping with whatever man or woman who would pay her any small amount of attention. Tiffany becomes so addicted to sex that she feels as though she needs it in order to survive. Will she be able to control her addiction? Will she ever be able to fill that void? Or will she destroy herself in the process?

One week later, I went over to Trent’s house and picked him up. We began to drive around the Temple Terrace area looking for somewhere to park and hopefully have sex. I had money and I could have easily gotten a motel room somewhere but I liked living on the edge. As we passed my old elementary school I remembered behind the school there were picnic tables near the Hillsborough River. A few feet from the picnic tables was a gazebo. Houses were along the river but they faced the opposite direction leaving the river in their backyards. We parked by the river, exited the car, and headed for the picnic tables. Taking a seat at the top of the picnic table, I sat with my feet hanging off.
